Group size

The group size is set at a maximum of 15 participants per course and a minimum of 7 participants.

Admission requirements

The admission requirements according to VDI 2553 – qualification to become a certified Lean Construction Experts are:

• professional qualification (i.e. completed university studies or master craftsman/technician examination or proof of 10 years of professional experience in the construction sector)
• or several years of professional experience in the construction industry
• It is also beneficial to have already some experiences with Lean Construction approaches

In addition to this form, please send us the relevant supporting documents or a signed curriculum vitae with the participant's registration for the verification of the prerequisite, from which the fulfilment of the admission requirements can be seen.
 

Courses, Dates, Costs

The next course with still available places will take place:

• Modul 1: 08 - 10 April 2026
• Modul 2: 06 - 08 May 2026
• Modul 3: 02 - 03 July 2026

 
As an alternative to the open courses, companies can also book internal courses exclusively, for example to develop and certify an entire business area of lean construction project management.

REGISTRATION

The cost of qualifying as a
Lean Construction Expert in accordance with VDI 2553
is € 7,500 plus VAT.

Early bird discount of 8% for registrations by 15 February 2026 = € 6,900 plus VAT.

This includes:

• training,
• course materials,
• 1 copy of VDI 2553,
• conference venue and catering,
• the examination fee for the written and oral examinations,
• and certification of the qualification.

Any travel and accommodation costs are not included.
